TV presenter Cherno Jobatey moderates the show „ZDF-Royale” at a British throne jubilee in front of Buckingham Palace, the official residence of the British monarchs in London’s City of Westminster. The show was broadcasted live from the very place where Architect William Winde built the house in 1702 . Today it stands in the center of the palace complex. Buckingham Palace was enlarged and rebuilt frequently, and even hit by bombs in the Second World War. Today’s worldwide known facade of Buckingham Palace with all it’s 775 rooms was created only in 1913. It creates the background for TV-host Cherno Jobatey. The history of that awe inspiring building plays a big part of the show “ZDF-Royale”.
