Bob Geldof donates much of his public life to charity. That started in the 80ies working for Amnesty International, and continues with a focus on the political situation in Africa. Band Aid, Live Aid and Live 8 have followed. Geldof’s battle cry: “We are the first generation that can make poverty history. We can do it, so lets do it!”
