Cherno Jobatey hosting ARD-TV‘s daily “Summer Garden Show“ at Berlin’s IFA (International Radio Exhibition). The stage is right under the iconic Berlin Radio Tower. The Show contains two hours of good humored entertainment with stars, celebrities, quizzes and sweepstakes for the 400.000 IFA-visitors and of course for the millions on the screens at home.
The IFA is one of Germany’s oldest industrial exhibitions. At IFA, great minds like Albert Einstein debated inventions, researcher Manfred von Ardennes wowed the world displaying images with a cathode ray tube in 1931 – inventing TV! And the world’s first regular television progamme was broadcasted live from IFA in 1935.
